Rebel Hippies have all but overthrown the Establishment - having captured, and held for years, a more powerful position in space - Space stations in Earth orbit, bases on the moon, and a small fleet of ships are liberated by the Rebels in the name of the People.

Now, a new technology has emerged that could win the war, and has fallen into the hands of the Rebels - a teleportation device, designed to transport troops and weapons, can now rescue and save millions of slaves - but it draws on far more energies than anyone knows.

Using the new Teleportation technology in a daring mass rescue mission, of hundreds of people from an inner city ghetto to a Space Station in low Earth orbit - our hero, Dreamer, is holding the device during transport back, and finds himself instead transported into our world, into someone else's life.

On a voyage across spacetime, one may certainly find enlightenment - but when you get back, you may find that you're not where, or even who, you think you are. It doesn't take very long for Dreamer to discover that his whole world has changed - even if the people around him appear to be the same.

Imagine finding yourself in a parallel reality, where only the people are the same - yet all of the experiences you've shared together are now yours alone. For Dreamer to confide in anyone, is to only reinforce their suspicions that he's recently gone insane - as he obviously knows nothing about the world he's in, or the life his duplicate has led

Our hero, Dreamer, is not at all used to our primitive technology or relative domestic peace - but the device he hides could possibly offer hope to return, but he can't do it alone. The Dazi in this world is starting to suspect something real - but will she believe him, his impossible tale ?

The Dreamer and Dazi of this world have a long standing relationship - but this Dreamer is reluctant to tell her his implausable adventures. He shows her the device, but something goes wrong - and the Dazi from our world is now accidentally transported to his world.

Dreamer was hoping to be the one to transport back to his world, although having his Dazi back is almost as good - but the woman who opens her eyes is not who he was expecting at all. This new Dazi is from a world where Atlantis never sank beneath the waves - whose wisdom and technology is far superior to anything so far encountered.

Sometimes it's easy to be in the wrong place at the wrong time - especially when you don't have any place to be and all the time in the world to get there. Our hero, Dreamer, has drunk a little too much, perhaps imbibed a few too many primitive chemicals - and is taken by the wind to a place where he is sure he'll be safe to hide from this strange new world for awhile.

During a nightmarish episode of psychic seizures, brought on by intoxication and near lethal exposure - our hero thinks he's halucinating when he half awakens as a king, in a fantastic kingdom right out of fables and storybook legends. Unable to move, he is only slightly aware of the person whose life he now finds himself fading into - who is now falling deeper into a trance, as he begins slipping away himself, and into our world.

Imagine a storybook realm with magical kingdoms and mythological creatures - where realities like ours are part of their storybook legends, and are considered by them to be pure fantasy. Our new hero, the King, is drugged and put under a spell by a powerful wizard and transported to our realm - switching minds with one of equal noble character - but who is in this world the most humble of peasants.

A dimensional exile, thrust into this modern world, where magic is replaced by technology - the King must seek out someone who can help him understand where he is and what has happened to him. This world's new Dazi is there for him, and he recognizes her as his long dead Queen, and he's familiar to her too - but neither of them are native to this world, nor do they speak the same language.

The King and Atlantean Dazi struggle to understand what has happened to them. They tell each other what they can, he of his kingdom and wizards - and she, what little she knows from what Dreamer has told her, and of the device in their possession.

Together, they share their fascination for the new wonders of the world they have been thrust into. The begin to have visions of alternate worlds superimposing upon the one they're currently in. Some they recognize, some they do not - but they are beginning to regognize their partners in each other.
