so i made a little hex
to measure stuff with:
out of cubes for sides
cylinders for corners:
...grouped together to
stretch proportionally

the sides are:
1 cubit wide (thick)
1 cubit tall (height)
20 cubits long (hex/2)

the corners are:
1 cubit tall and
1 cubit diameter

point to point
left to right
is 40 cubits

grouping edge to edge
is currently 41 units
but that's adjustable
what's important, is:
line/point proportion

the approximate proportions of this
ideal hex i've made are 40 to 34.64
(as, from center it's: 20 to 17.32)
...(point to point vs side to side)
...and comparing it to G1se-G2nw...
213 / 250 = 0.852
42.6 x 0.8 = 34.08
