In a stunning move for music, and proverbience factors everywhere,
a new chord was discovered today by Zoid the Annoyed
- currently of Planet Earth, a tiny blue green world in the Outer Archaeus Sector.
"My friend was just foolin around with some basic chord thingies, n he left the root off of em," cited Zoid, a silly humanoid hippie space cookie.
"I realized how different this sounded when I tried to play it exactly how he did on the tape."
(Tape is how this primitive species, until most recently, has stored sonic data - the analog practice is slowly being phased out, as is also their civilization.)
Ironically, the tune entitled "Alien Wonderland" was written entirely by a fellow denizen of the primitive culture
- who (to the best of their knowledge, anyways) has yet to encounter any beings from outside their fragile sphere.
"See, ye take a normal G major chord, right? Played in the third position on the higher strings, but with the lower root left off.
This leaves the notes (low to high) B, D and G - which in any combination is sposed to be G major.
But if you look at it from the B perspective, it's everything about an augmented, but with a minor third.
So I'm gonna call it an Augmented Minor - I've searched everywhere I know for it, n there doesn't seem to be any such thing.
Zoid went on to explain how the result is a weird ukalele sounding early American folk (whatever those are)
- but our investigators became bored and crept into his mind (while he yammered away about it all)
and brought out this entirely appetizing personal recipe for a human delicacy, known as Pizza.
Frozen pizza bread dough from the grocery store
- any good spaghetti sauce, with spices: garlic, chili powder, oregano
- high quality salty mozzerella, a nice pepperoni, white onions, crisp green pepper
- 9" x 12" pyrex glass pan 2" deep - crisco, not oil
- preheat to 400 - bake for about 20 mins
Mmmmmmmmm
- it seems this species isn't entirely devoid of good taste.
Maybe we'll put off disentigrating them, for now.
