Amok!

How many groups of 10 are there in 10,000 ?
1000?
OK, how many groups of 32 are there in 96 ?
3?
Pretty good at this eh ?
Eh, not really...
OK, how many groups of 7 in 22 ?
3 with 1 left over
Actually, the answer is pi
3.14..... - pretty easy, eh ?
So, how many groups of 7 in 1 ?
None. Unless you're Sybil.
OK, now, how many nothings in anything ?
Can't divide by zero...
besides, nothing is the lack of anything,
so if there's anything,
it's obviously not nothing.
Wrong ~ THWAP ~ TRY AGAIN !
How many nothings in anything ?
None! None! None!
The answer is infinity.
That's where math drops off the known universe
~ and it's right in front of us !
To say that you can't divide
by zero is stupid - ignorant !
Anything is possible - everything exists !
If you're not dividing by anything,
there's no result to be had...
Look at your hands, what do you see ?
Can you see anything you've ever touched ?
Division is potential - theoretical potential.
Pi is a number we haven't calculated the end of.
It may never end - we don't know.
But it is a property of a perfect circle
So it would make sense that it would never end.
In a universe where things exist that go on forever,
how can you say that something cannot be done ?
Because it defies the only logic
I know how to apply to that universe...
Look beyond what you can
perceive for a moment.
Imagine .....
Imagine what, specifically?
Do you want me to tell you what to imagine ?
Then it will be me who's imagining.
Imagine something
no one's ever imagined before.
Imagine that it's possible.
And imagine other things like that,
where that thought is from,
somewhere out there
in the undreamed of realms .....
Okay...this state of nothing, this no-thing,
dividing every point of a number,
of which there are an infinite number,
coming to an infinite number of solutions...
Go beyond the numbers.
Numbers just count how many things there are.
Look at the scene - see the vortex of a black hole,
whirling into infinity, like a cosmic drain,
drifting even light into another mathematical probability.
Slicing and dicing it all into more math,
more numbers...
Did I tell you I'm not good with them?
OK - very simply,
If we chart division on a graph,
it doesnt matter what you start with
- it could be 5 or 7 or 150 million -
but lets divide that number by different values,
smaller and smaller - now less than one,
less than one half, one third, one quarter etc.
As we approach zero,
the quotient becomes so vast its incalculable!
When we reach zero therefore,
we can safely call it infinity.
Now multiply infinity by two,
now divide infinity by two,
calculate the arc tangent of infinity times pi! ;o)
This is why I was a language student
and not, say, an architect or something...
Can't wrap my head around it.
Dont let the numbers get you down.
All your life you've been taught math.
By a culture that can barely
get off it's own home world.
The realm of the cosmos
is simpler than it seems.
It is said that whales know the value
of things, without doing the math.
They can count the fish in a school,
but they don't carry the one.
;o)
Eh, you're right...
Mark this day on your calendar,
I don't usually admit it without a fight...
Heh, you misspelled calendar ;oP
I've also been up 19 hours
...what do you expect?
OK, how many infinities in 19 ?
An infinite number ?
Well if there arent, it sure is a waste.
Of 19 good chances at it?
So, possibly Infinity to the 19th power, eh?
